It's almost like magic... the tides, planetary orbits, everything
exists in a groovy balance. And it would all fly apart tomorrow
if the inverse-square law didn't stay hard at work day in and
day out to keep things right where they need to be.
So! The inscription says "The effect of gravity is inversely
proportional to the distance squared"
In other words, you get a little bit farther away from something
and the gravitational pull gets a WHOLE lot weaker. So the earth
and moon tug each other just a little, not too much. It's nice.
